this is the last week to view 'ancient accidents.' an exhibition of photographs by josh erickson at alchemy hair salon in orlando, fl. josh is one of my all time favorite creeps...i mean, artists. he's as sick as i, and i love him for always making me laugh and cringe.

hubba-hubba-Hubble

today the Hubble Telescope celebrates 20 years in space! named after the American astronomer edwin powell hubble, it has been called one of the greatest achievements in science. it orbits Earth every 96 minutes, 360 miles above the Earth's surface and has taken images of galaxies over 12 million light years away. i am in awe of the images taken by the Hubble, as i am sure most are.

finally, a vegetarian restaurant in WPB! and...it's actually good! darbster, named after the owners' dog, darby, is definitely worth checking out. the palm cakes are of my favorites on the menu and nelson loves the tempeh reuben, but really anything we've tried has been delightful. the casual patio dining is relaxing after a long day and the staff is super friendly. also, dogs are welcome!
